"Why I Believe in Southern Cross Soloists"
What is so remarkable about Southern Cross Soloists is that every incarnation of it is fresh, energised and surprising. The combination of awe-inspiring musical talent, amazing performance spaces, wonderful arrangements and new compositions is very potent. Ultimately for me, it means that a Southern Cross Soloists experience is stimulating, and always enjoyable. Southern Cross Soloists provide a platform to show off the music of both past and contemporary composers; give the general public an opportunity to increase their musical repertoire; as well as showcasing their own imaginative arrangements. The commitment the Soloists have to quality performance is simply unrivalled, and I think they are worth supporting in so many ways! To enable this exuberant ensemble achieve its long-term goal of regularly performing in Brisbane, around Australia and internationally, as well as continuing to record, commission and educate, takes more money than ticket sales can ever provide. To continue this inspiring work it takes serious sponsorship. It is exciting to think of the new repertoire that could be created for this wonderful combination of musical forces. We are now seeking corporate partnerships, and as Chair of the Board may I urge you to consider getting your name behind a world-class ensemble that is truly worthy of your support.
Thank you.
