Hon Donald Page MP

Message from the Honorable Minister, Mr Donald Page

In just ten short years, the Bangalow Music Festival has become an impressive and vibrant showcase of internationally acclaimed music.

The high standard reached in the Festival was officially recognised on Australia Day 2004 with the Byron Shire Council presenting Bangalow Music Festival organisers with the Community Event Award - a notable accolade in a region known for its community spirit and festivities!

This year, audiences will again be treated to a range of musical talents in a nine concert series.

Special thanks to Tania Frazer,Paul Dean and the Southern Cross Soloists, visiting musicians, the Bangalow Chamber of Commerce and the public for once again supporting the Festival so enthusiastically.

The Spirit of Bangalow is alive and well, as the streets sing with the strains of beautiful music.

I welcome visitors to the village and wish you an enjoyable Festival.

With warm greetings,

The Honorable Minister

Donald Page

Minister for Local Government and the North Coast NSW
