Since its inception in 2002, the Bangalow Music Festival has become firmly established as one of the highlights of the national arts calendar. World-class musicians, delicious food and fascinating programming in an informal, friendly atmosphere are the ingredients for a fabulous weekend. When you add the natural beauty of the historic township of Bangalow and the scenic appeal of the sub-tropical Northern Rivers landscape just 10 minutes from Byron Bay, it's no wonder that people not only come back year after year, but that they bring their friends for an ideal weekend escape.

In 2010 the festival will consist of nine spectacular concerts featuring the Southern Cross Soloists, concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic Ilya Konovalov, the Australian String Quartet, Seraphim Trio, and pianists Liam Viney & Anna Grinberg.
