Andrew Arthur is a forward-thinking media and communications executive with a deep understanding of audience preferences, particularly in regional areas. He is a decisive and hardworking leader, adept at making proactive, insightful updates to policies and procedures. With 10 years of progressive team-leading and team-building experience, he is well-prepared to positively impact business operations. Andrew’s comprehensive understanding of the media landscape enables him to leverage opportunities effectively while minimizing risk.

As Manager at the ABC Ombudsman’s Office, Andrew focused on developing and embedding processes and procedures to ensure the team investigated content complaints with impartiality and integrity. Previously, as Local Editor at ABC Gold Coast, he honed his expertise in orchestrating content across diverse media platforms and fostering a unified team dynamic to enhance storytelling impact.

Andrew brings confidence and the ability to add value in roles that leverage his problem-solving and team management skills. The collaborative efforts of the content-making teams he led consistently drove audience growth and digital platform expansion, showcasing his commitment to innovative content delivery.

 

By embracing new technologies and methodologies, he contributed to the development of COVID-safe practices, ensuring robust communication channels continued to serve audiences effectively during critical times.
