Join Southern Cross Soloists on a journey through the Middle East in a concert exploring the lure and mystique of the Orient
From Telemann’s Gypsies to Bloch’s portrayal of Jewish life, the highlight of this concert, Ravel’s Scheherazade will conjure up exotic images of Persian splendour and opulence in the enchanted tale of One Thousand and One Nights. The Middle Eastern odyssey will continue with the world premiere of an exciting new work by SXS Next Gen composer, John Rotar, and finish with some foot-stomping fun as the Soloists sweep you away in some exhilarating Klezmer Dances for an energising finish.
