All other Southern Cross Soloist performances are still scheduled to go ahead, including our QPAC series in July at the current time. We are following guidance from the Australian Government and Queensland Health. A working group, with representatives from across the organisation, has been set up to monitor the situation as it evolves. Tickets are still on sale for such events and you will be contacted if the situation changes. We have your best interests as supporters at heart and we thank you for being patient during this time.
As per Queensland Health advice, if you feel unwell or have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 you should stay away from public gatherings, otherwise it is safe to attend.

A message from Diana Khursandi
our Board Chair.
As the new chair of the Board of Southern Cross Soloists, I would like to keep you updated on the current situation as we navigate the unforeseen and challenging Covid-19 pandemic.
The Southern Cross Soloists had a hugely successful artistic year in 2019, with three scintillating and innovative subscription concerts at QPAC, a sparkling, diverse and exhilarating Bangalow Festival, and many regional concerts in South East Queensland. We managed to sneak in our first QPAC Subscription Concert before the close-down, featuring the wonderful trumpeter Miroslav Petrov. The concert was sold out, and received a rave review.
In 2020, we planned to celebrate our 25th year with many exciting musical programs planned to mark this special anniversary, our silver jubilee. However, this exciting momentum has been temporarily put on pause facing such unexpected challenges. Sadly, we are now contemplating cancelling at least two events this year, and possibly more. This time of uncertainty is no doubt hard for all. Our talented musicians are working on generating unique and fresh online content, curated by the musicians of Southern Cross Soloists and organised by our administrative team.
We are looking forward to being able to take to the stage again, as a company stronger than ever, to perform a wonderful variety of music for you as soon as we can.
Stay safe and well in these challenging times.
