About the event
Southern Cross Soloists bring their flair for the dramatic to QPAC with a program of unbridled virtuosity and exquisite beauty, including thrilling works by Telemann, Grieg, Richard Strauss and Liszt as well as Sean O'Boyle's acclaimed didgeridoo concerto (rated 32nd in ABC Classic FM's top 100 concertos). The program will feature international Didgeridoo soloist Chris Williams (currently SXS’s Artist in Residence), and this year's Opera Queensland Young Artist and rising starlet, soprano Rebecca Cassidy in celebration of SXS’s 25 years of exquisite chamber music.
