SXS bids farewell to Alex Miller, horn

We are sad to farewell SXS horn Alex Miller who bids adieu with these words.

A note from Alex to the friends and supporters of the Southern Cross Soloists:

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided I will not be returning in my role as solo horn of the Southern Cross Soloists next year. Instead, 2021 will see me turning my attention to long-standing aspirations that lie outside of performance and the arts. I want to thank the Southern Cross Soloists for the past two years of wonderful music-making, and for welcoming me into the group with such warmth and generosity. It's been an absolute pleasure working with you all and performing for such a dedicated audience, and I'm looking forward to watching the group continue to go from strength to strength in the years to come. Best wishes for next season, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2021—only now from the other side of the stage.
